Set to be used. However, for high-voltage cables, metal sheaths are generally specified. The use of extruded wrinkle aluminum metal sleeve is more ideal, but a continuous aluminum press machine expensive, with the development of welding technology, wrinkle welding aluminum sleeve cable use reliability has been more and more recognized, cable enterprises using advanced argon arc welding technology, and equipped with ultrasonic and other online detection devices, to ensure the sealing of welding, in order to test whether the welding is missed, the manufacturer added an intermediate inspection device, the whole plate of welded cable for water immersion air tightness test, and 100% inspection.
Crosslinking method
Although there are many varieties of cross-linked insulation, they are mainly divided into two categories: physical crosslinking and chemical crosslinking. Physical crosslinking, also known as irradiation crosslinking, is generally suitable for low-voltage cables with thin insulation thickness. Medium and high voltage cables generally use peroxide crosslinking, that is, linear molecules are chemically relinked through chemical crosslinking to transform into a three-dimensional network structure. Chemical crosslinking can also be generally divided into two types: peroxide crosslinking and silane grafting crosslinking. The chemical crosslinking method is simpler than the high-energy radiation crosslinking process, the operation is safe, and the crosslinking degree of irradiated cross-linked polyethylene is about 70%, while the chemical crosslinking can reach 70~90%.
